In 1986, Edward Farah opened Alia's Family Restaurant in Southfield, Michigan, offering delicious homemade meals to the local neighborhood and surrounding areas. Edward served as executive chef + operating manager, creating an exquisite cuisine based on his Mediterranean influenced kitchen training. In 1997, Edward was approached to cater a small event of about 40 people and after a successful response, he decided to enter the catering arena bringing on board his son Etienne Farah as Catering Director to assist with the new project.
Etienne studied extensively on how to create a successful catering business using the best quality foods from local farms + Mediterranean vendors. He now serves as Director of Operations overseeing the scope of the entire business. With father and son working side by side....they bring to you Alia's Catering.
